Jay-Z Announces Carnegie Hall For Charity Appearance
“We’re gonna have some legendary nights, some loud music and it’s gonna be a fun, beautiful experience,” Jay-Z said regarding Carnegie Hall For Charity. And guess what? Our Mr. Carter is going to be a part of it.
The ticket sale for the two-day, February 6 and 7, concert will tentatively kick off on January 3, ranging in price from $500 to $2,500 apiece.

And after November 6 performance on “The Show Must Go On” and “We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions” for MTV Europe Awards along with Lambert and band mate Brian May, the drummer apparently seeks another chance to work with Lambert and he talked live dates. Guns N’ Roses are to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. This will happen during the 27th annual ceremony on April 14, at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. Of course, we want them, the original lineup, to show up. Might bring a lot of nostalgic moment. Eminem wasn’t the only MC at Bonnaroo. Big Boi, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa were also there adding some considerable excitement to the crowd. But Em had his moment. The rapper performed “No Love,” “Lighters” with Royce Da 5’9″ and “Love the Way You Lie.” After more than an hour taking the stage and 5 minutes thunderous roar of fans chanting “Shady” obviously asking another track, he soon returned after with encore “Lose Yourself.”

During a taped performance of “Don’t Stop the Party” on French television show Taratata, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas pulled out his phone and read something from it. Did he forget the lyrics? Ja Rule Puts New Album on Hold, Serves Time
It seems that fans of Ja Rule have to put more patients waiting for the rapper’s next album, the first in six years. The album, “Pain Is Love 2,” was reportedly to be release this week. But apparently that effort has to be put on hold and until late this summer.
The cause, of course, is related to Rule’s criminal charges. He pleaded guilty in December to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in connection with a July 2007 arrest in which the Manhattan District Attorney’s office claimed police found a loaded semi-automatic .40-caliber Taurus handgun, with the serial number scratched off, hidden in the backseat of the MC’s Maybach.
Good thing is, as he recently told TMZ.com, he plans to keep busy behind bars by writing a book, getting his GED and possibly taking up the guitar.
He hoped his arrest and prison stint would convince young fans to leave guns alone.

New Music: Coldplay – Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall
As promised, Coldplay released a new single, “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,” on its website this Friday morning. The track, which may or may not appear on the band’s Brian Eno-produced fifth album, is now available on digital retailers except in the U.K., where it will be released on Sunday morning.
Coldplay will debut “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” live during its gig at the Rock Im Park festival in Nuremberg, Germany tonight. The group is set to hit the States for Lollapalooza on August 5 and Austin City Limits on Sept. 16, after playing gigs in Europe, Japan and Australia this summer.
